Name of the Event: Xenia Fest 2023- Inter- University Sports Tournament
Date and Time: April 6th, 7th, 8th, and 14th, 2023
Description of the Event:
We are pleased to inform you that The Hospitality Club, The Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT), is organizing the Xenia ’23 Sports Tournament on April 6th, 7th, 8th, and 14th, 2023. The tournament will feature basketball, cricket, and football matches, promoting sportsmanship, healthy competition, and camaraderie among participants. It is completely planned by the student council of the club, from conceptualisation to the promotion of the event.
12 teams/ colleges participated in the tournament. This event presents a unique opportunity for organizations to engage with our community and foster lasting relationships while indulging in friendly competition.
To ensure seamless coordination and hassle-free management of the tournament, the Hospitality Club has appointed coordinators for each sport, who will be responsible for handling all queries and concerns related to their respective sports. The event is going on very well.

Name of the Event: Hospitium Symposium- Xenia 2024
Date and Time: 2nd April 2024 at 10:30 am to 3:30 pm
Venue: Lecture Hall 5, FHMCT.
Description of the Event:
The Hospitium Symposium (by the students and for the students) was organised as part of Xenia 2024 competitions to provide students at other hotel management colleges in India an opportunity to present their research project and get it published in our in-house magazine, Hospitium [Vol. 6, Issue 1]. The theme of the symposium was Research and Innovation in Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
The keynote speaker of this symposium was Dr. Jeetesh Kumar- Head Research and Associate Director – Centre for Research and Innovation in Tourism (CRiT) Associate Editor – Asia Pacific Journal of Innovation in Hospitality and Tourism (APJIHT). Fifteen teams of students from various colleges in Bangalore, Maharashtra and Noida participated.
The best paper presentation was awarded to winners and runner ups.
Name of the Event: National-Level Intercollegiate Fest XENIA-2K19
Date and Time: 19th and 20th February 2019, 8:30 am to 5 pm and 8.30 am to 10 pm
Description of the Event:
Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences hosted a National Level Hospitality, Literary and Cultural Fest, XENIA 2K19 on the 19th and 20th February 2019. FHMCT has been conducting critically acclaimed flagship events over the past two years. Each of these events have witnessed participation from around 20 universities and colleges from across the country. Events like best manager, culinary competition, bartending, interior designing, treasure, hunt etc. were conducted on day-1 and cultural events such as fashion show, group dancing, beat-boxing, mad ads, etc. were conducted on day-2. The participants enjoyed a DJ evening post the prize-distribution ceremony on day-2.
Xenia 2K19 was an extraordinary platform for students to showcase their skill, talent and flair in all events conducted. Interaction among students and faculty members of various colleges was a treasured melange of thoughts and ideas.
